ISLANDS--Aaron writes about the ups and downs of island life for Michigan Blue magazine.

WONDER FALLS--Aaron writes and shoots a six-page feature about Upper Peninsula waterfalls for Traverse magazine. His shot of Rock River Falls also takes the cover this month.

TROUT--Aaron's images of the Blackfoot River in Western Montana are featured in Trout Unlimited's summer issue of Trout magazine.

Life on the Farm: This month Aaron reflects on working around the homestead in an essay for Northern Home & Cottage magazine. Read the essay here on AP's blog.

Inside Outside: Outside magazine taps Peterson for an image from the Keweenaw for a road trip feature on the Lake Superior Circle Tour.

Too Cool: Peterson's travel feature on a round up of cool Upper Peninsula destinations runs in AAA-Living Michigan magazine this month. As always, plenty of photos too.

Covering Lighthouses: Peterson's photo of the Crisp Point Lighthouse is the cover of Michigan History magazine's May/June issue on summer travel destinations. We've got Great Lakes lighthouses covered!

Weekend Warrior: When National Geographic Adventure wants active outdoor images from the Upper Midwest they come to Aaron. This month Nat Geo is using a full page sea kayaking image from Lake Superior to lead off the Next Weekend section.

CANOE COVER: Canoeing Sylvania Wilderness Area near Watersmeet Michigan makes the cover of Silent Sport's April issue.

Trout Unlimited: Aaron donates images and design to promote the 21st annual banquet of the Fred Waara Trout Unlimited Chapter. This is the major fundraiser for the group, which through its volunteers, watches over the waters of the Central Upper Peninsula.

March 2008

A Love Story: Aaron reflects on the appeal of fixing up an old home in a humorous essay for Northern Home & Cottage.

SPRING COVER--Silent Sports magazine picks a Lake Superior sea kayaking image from Lake Superior Provincial Park in Ontario for its March cover. Lake Superior Provincial Park is one of our favorite places and a great sea kayaking destination near Wawa, Ontario.

Winter 2008

Cabin Fever: Aaron writes and illustrates a travel piece on the MDNR cabins at Harlow Lake for Michigan Blue magazine. Six cabins, one lake and lots of backcountry bliss only minutes from Marquette, Mich.

Write & Wrong: Aaron writes an essay about trespassing and other moral gray areas common to the North Country in this issue of Traverse, Northern Michigan's Magazine.

I-500: Peterson pens an eight-page article for Traverse Magazine on the legendary International 500 Snowmobile Race in Sault Ste. Marie. Thirty-three teams and 6,000 fans kickin' and a gouging in the snow and the blood and the beer. Quite a site.

Kayak Calendar: Three of our Great Lakes sea kayaking images are being used in the 2008 Willow Creek Kayaking calendar. After years of kayaking Lake Superior and the other Great Lakes, our deep catalog of Great Lakes kayaking photography is unmatched.
